cbuzz: Creating Opportunity Through Inclusive Employment with Kristin Schaub & Janae Miller, Greenleaf Job Training Services
October 1st, 2026
What if one of the strongest solutions to today’s workforce challenges is a talent pool many employers still overlook?
In this episode of cbuzz, Kristin Schaub, CEO of Greenleaf Job Training Services, and Janae Miller, Greenleaf Board Member and Founder and Managing Principal of Sight Unseen, LLC, explore what inclusive employment really looks like — and why creating greater opportunity for people with disabilities can also strengthen businesses, teams, and workplace culture.
Drawing on decades of experience in vocational rehabilitation, disability advocacy, employer training, and workforce development, Kristin and Janae discuss the barriers that still exist for job seekers with disabilities, the misconceptions employers often bring to the hiring process, and what it takes to move beyond simply hiring someone toward creating a truly inclusive workplace.
They also share how Greenleaf works alongside employers at no cost to help identify talent, navigate accommodations, support successful placements, and build long-term employment relationships. From addressing workforce shortages to improving retention and expanding the way organizations think about talent, the conversation offers practical insight for employers at every stage of their inclusion journey.
Whether you’re looking for new ways to strengthen your workforce, improve accessibility, or create a workplace where people of all abilities can succeed, this conversation offers a valuable perspective on the opportunities that can emerge when employers broaden the way they think about talent.
