The Alpha Group is a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves 700+ individuals with disabilities in 13 Ohio counties. Our programs and services include transportation, work training, supportive living, integrated adult day and community employment.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

Alpha’s mission is to support, empower, and champion individuals with disabilities on their path to independence and success.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We are part of the Ohio Provider Resource Association. This association allows Alpha to sit on committees, attend conferences and work with others in the same field to stay on top of best practices, rules, and regulations. The Alpha Group also stays in contact with The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and local County Board of Developmental Disabilities for ongoing training and resources.

What is your company culture like?

Associates at The Alpha Group connect with those they serve through their endless compassion, empathy, and adaptability. They understand that each member is unique in their personality and their needs. Alpha serves more than 700 individuals with disabilities in 13 Ohio counties, so Alpha employees understand that there are times when they may need to “wear more than one hat.” And because of their dedication to Alpha’s members, they always step up to the plate and fill in where needed.
