Kenwel Printers, Inc. is a full-service print production and mail house locally owned and operated in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus for 70 years. Services we provide include:

– Digital Color printing
– Variable Data printing
– Multi-Color Offset printing
– Pre-Press services
– Mailing and Fulfillment services
– Bindery services
– Wholesale and Retail Production capabilities

Our customers include corporate headquarters, educational institutions, non-profits, associations, municipalities, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.

Projects include annual reports, campaigns/promotions, event materials, fundraising letters, postcards, recruitment materials, brochures, calendars, association directories, newsletters, letterhead, magazines, and more.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

We help businesses and organizations of all sizes communicate effectively to their target audiences. Our experienced service team listens and asks the right questions to gain a full understanding of our customers’ goals. We do our research and provide solutions that result in the highest quality product for the best price.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We are grateful for all that the Columbus Chamber has to offer. The services we have begun utilizing are CEO Insights, Member News, Marketing, and Market Research. We look forward to learning more about the other services, attending networking events and connecting with fellow Chamber members..

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Kenwel regularly participates in national and local industry conferences/workshops. We engage with a variety of leaders to gain as well as provide industry insights. Kenwel’s President, Mike Fisher, currently serves on the Board of Directors for Graphic Media Alliance – an association partnership of graphic arts companies and suppliers located throughout Ohio, Michigan, and northern Kentucky. Kenwel has developed long-standing relationships by collaborating on projects with industry peers, suppliers, and designers.

We look forward to later this year, August 17-19, when Columbus will host Americas Print Show – an industry event focused on building connections and growth in the print and graphics community. It is expected to bring together regional and national associations representing more than 5,000 companies.

What is your company culture like?

There is never a dull day. The culture at Kenwel is creative, passionate, challenging, and stimulating. We understand the need for flexibility and have been able to provide it to both our employees and our customers. As an independent, mid-size shop, we are able to change course depending on customer feedback or market research relatively easily..

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

The ability to work independently and as a team member. Enjoys solving problems and likes a challenge. They understand the creative process, take ownership and pride in everything they do. Appreciates people from different backgrounds and is open to different perspectives.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Doing business in Columbus now for 70 years – how can we not love it here! The diversity and types of business make Columbus a great place – everything from well-established corporate headquarters to business incubators and start-ups. There are educational opportunities for students of all ages and interests. Incredible work is done to improve the well-being of our local community and the world by the many non-profits. With all the historical places to visit, culture to experience, and sporting events to attend – there is a lot to enjoy with friends and family in Columbus. We feel fortunate to be part of such a well-rounded community.
