Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services
Chamberlain University has over 130 years of academic excellence. Our roots go back to the Deaconess traditions of 19th century Europe, during the time of Florence Nightingale. The chosen name, Chamberlain, is derived from the Middle English word “chaumberlein,” which means “chief steward” – in recognition of the critical role of the nurse as the central steward and coordinator of patient care. We have both a College of Nursing and College of Health Professionals who continue to raise the standard of nursing and healthcare education and advance healthcare outcomes in communities across the country and around the world. We are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and multiple accreditations from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing. Chamberlain University has committed to setting a vision and associated commitment to action for addressing racism and fighting for social justice. We believe racism is a public health crisis which must be addressed. Our TEACH values (teamwork, energy, accountability, community and heart) will be our guide as we embark on this first step in a long journey.
