Capital Crossroads and Discovery Special Improvement Districts are an association of property owners in Downtown Columbus that pay for services to provide a safe, clean, vibrant, and welcoming downtown.
In addition to employing uniformed ambassadors that provide enhanced maintenance and safety, the SIDs employ homeless outreach specialists, conduct economic research, manage the Downtown C-pass program, and the Markets at Pearl.
The Markets at Pearl is a collection of events that connect Ohio farmers, artisans, and creators in the urban heart of Columbus at Pearl and Gay streets. Take a break from your day and head to The Pearl Market on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Here, you can grab a bite for lunch, peruse artisanal goods from local vendors, get a chair massage, and pick out your weekly groceries from a selection of farm-fresh fruits and veggies, meats, honey, and more.
The Moonlight and Sunlight Markets are a weekend draw to Pearl and Gay streets lined with independent restaurants and local businesses. You can find us on the second Saturday of every month from 5 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. at our Moonlight Market and on the third Sunday of every month from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. at our Sunlight Market. Stop by to shop for locally-made artisanal goods, enjoy live music and more. The Markets run through November. Pearl Market operates and thrives thanks to our generous sponsors: Credit Union of Ohio, Ohio Farm Bureau, Edwards Urban, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Ohio Custodial Management, and Ohio Support Services.
