Important Reminder for Employers: Support Medicare-Age Employees This AEP | Shields Up Health

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs through December 7, and this year it’s more important than ever for Medicare-age employees and retirees to review their coverage.

Changes driven by the Inflation Reduction Act are leading to significant plan adjustments — and in some cases, plans leaving the market altogether — which will impact coverage and costs in 2026.

Kristen Troesch of Shields Up Health encourages employers to help their Medicare-age staff by connecting them with a local resource who understands the plans, provider networks, and year-round support needs — not a call center they’ll never speak to again.
