Hi-Lo Studios: New Urban Space to Create Original Content & Host Curated Events

The owners of Bonfire Red launch a new rental studio concept in downtown Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH (November 8, 2022) –  There is a new rental space in town for individuals, companies, and brands to create original content (photography, video), host a curated event, launch a pop-up art gallery, conduct a workshop – your vision can happen at Hi-Lo Studios. Hi-Lo Studios is pleased to announce the launch of this “Airbnb-like” rental space in downtown Columbus on the second floor of the Hawk Galleries building. The 2,500+sf of downtown industrial loft-style space includes 13 ft ceilings, 3 studio/staging areas, a lounge, a kitchenette, and full-studio Sonos speaker system, and more.

“We love our Columbus creative community and were thrilled we could expand our footprint in our current building on East Main and Fourth Street to launch a new ambition,” said Joey Zornes, Owner of Hi-Lo Studios and Co-Founder of Bonfire Red. “We (Bonfire Red) have produced many different productions over the years, and Hi-Lo brings a fresh vibe to the Cbus rental options. We love shooting and entertaining here and are most excited to now share it with the Columbus community. To me, Hi-Lo is a space for anyone to create exceptional art and/or memorable experiences for you and your clients.”

The space is in a historic building from the 1870s and provides a great urban texture with red brick walls and white surfaces to make the space your own. It has three studios (or workspaces) to accommodate a variety of events. It’s a flat daily rate for the entire space – and can be flexible to host. It’s a quick, easy, turn-key experience to book the space for a day or multiple days. Guests can book online on the Hi-Lo website, pay via credit card and receive instructions with a keycode – just like your favorite vacation rental. 

Whether you are hosting a small intimate luncheon or dinner for friends and family, a 3-day pop-up art exhibition with a collection of artists, a corporate retreat and workshops, or a photo shoot for your Spring product line – Hi-Lo can be the perfect space for you.
