TaKeysha Sheppard Cheney is the founder, CEO & publisher of The Women’s Book, a media company she created to connect businesswomen to resources to advance their careers, communities and lifestyles. It shares news, events, women’s organizations, corporate initiatives, and profiles of inspiring women in business in print, online, and through social media and events that bring The Women’s Book to life. Cheney works regularly with corporate and community leaders to help develop and promote programming designed to raise the profile and engage businesswomen and those who support their success. She has spoken to a variety of corporate women’s groups and professional associations about the value of networking and women’s business networks such as Nationwide Insurance, the National Association of Women in Construction and the Institute for Women’s Leadership.
