The Columbus Chamber and Columbus Region Logistics Council presents the National Center for the Middle Market and its most recent study, entitled “Supply Chain Management in the Middle Market – How to be a Perfect Link.”
The Center, based at the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, has recently completed a survey of more than 400 businesses such as manufacturers, assembly companies, packagers, 3PLs, wholesalers, distributors and shippers with annual revenue ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. The center’s study focused on the relationships between those mid-sized companies and their much larger vendors and customers.
The findings are expected to include a look at how mid-sized firms balance crucial large-customer relationships with serving smaller clients, diversifying revenue streams and executing a broader business plan in the face of pricing and operational pressures from large customers and vendors.
Hear from our featured presenter, Dr. Thomas J. Goldsby, followed by a panel discussion of the National Center for the Middle Market’s findings, along with a question and answer period.
