Formally a woman-owned family business, EPS has been in business for over 40 years and has called Canal Winchester home for over 20 years.

The company’s new majority owner, Richard “Rocky” Rodriguez, brings extensive experience to the role, having completed two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and one tour in Operation Enduring Freedom. Following his decorated military service, Rocky transitioned into civilian life where he served in executive leadership at a large, nationwide security firm. His move to Ohio marks a new chapter for EPS, one driven by service, integrity, and industry expertise.

Joining him is business partner Michael Wackerly, who has 30+ years of hand-on experience in the security integration industry. Michael started at EPS 15 years ago as a technician and worked his way into leadership roles in project management and sales, eventually deciding to purchase EPS from the previous owners with Rocky. Together, they bring a balance of strategic leadership and deep operational knowledge, positioning EPS for continued growth and innovation.
