The Columbus Region Logistics Council will launch its 2020 event series with a conversation surrounding the 2018-2019 Ohio Trucking Association/Schneider Downs Transportation Business Outlook and Economic Survey. Dan Phillips, shareholder of Schneider Downs, will share a summary of the survey’s findings, including insights, trends, statistics and challenges identified from the 100+ collected responses. Tom Balzer, president of the Ohio Trucking Association, will provide an additional perspective on the state of freight in Ohio based on the economic, workforce, technology/mobility and legislation/regulation forces that are currently shaping the industry.

The morning will wrap up with a panel discussion comprised of supply chain industry experts who will weigh-in on the survey results, as well as provide strategies in response to the shifting dynamics of freight in Ohio.
