Homeport Looking Pretty with ‘Ugly’ Gift

Columbus Chamber
The Columbus Chamber provides connections, resources and solutions that help small businesses and Fortune 500 enterprises grow Central Ohio's economy.

Homeport President & CEO Bruce Luecke and Homeport Senior Director of Resource Development Laverne Price accepted check from EMH&T. On far right is EMH&T President Sandy Doyle Ahern.

For the fourth consecutive year, EMH&T looked their worst to do their best for Homeport.

Employees of the New Albany-based civil engineering firm wore ugly sweaters on December 18 in a friendly competition to raise funds for Homeport. Between staff and company matching dollars as well as candy cane sales, EMH&T contributed $5,500 to Homeport.

Since 2015, EMH&T’s tacky looking sweater competitions have raised almost $20,000 for Homeport.

If your company is interested in hosting an Ugly Sweater Challenge at your office in 2019 to support the mission of Homeport in 2019, contact Homeport Senior Director of Resource Development Laverne Price at 614 545-4891 or laverne.price@homeportohio.org.
