Columbus, OH, April 19, 2019 – The Columbus Chamber Foundation’s second annual Play to Work Golf & Tennis Invitational will be held May 13, 2019 at the New Albany Country Club.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the education and workforce development efforts of the Foundation, which strives to create greater opportunity in the Columbus Region through job readiness and preparation for the critical roles that help the area thrive.

“Last year’s Play to Work event was a great success,” said Don, president and CEO of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. “We are looking forward to another opportunity to provide support to our Region’s most-pressing workforce initiatives.”

This month marks the one-year anniversary with the Chamber as its workforce development director for Kelly Fuller.

“This event gives the Columbus Chamber Foundation the opportunity to not only strive towards its mission but to connect with the Columbus community and spread awareness on some of our Region’s most-pressing hurdles in the workforce sector,” said Fuller on this year’s Play to Work event.

John Carter, president of retirement plans for Nationwide, is serving on the Columbus Chamber Foundation’s Play to Work planning committee for the second consecutive year and looks forward to building community morale and raising awareness of community needs in Central Ohio.

The Play to Work Invitational is open to the public. Membership at the New Albany Country Club is not required to attend.
