AAF Columbus awarded Warhol & WALL ST. a Silver ADDY in events

Columbus, Ohio — Warhol & WALL ST. is proud to announce that AAF Columbus awarded us a Silver ADDY in events for the experiences we created as a part of our Harlem Renaissance campaign.

The Harlem Renaissance campaign is a citywide celebration centered around the 100th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance in Columbus. Since its formation in March of 2018, the Harlem Renaissance events team has produced or promoted more than 100 events across Columbus.

A few of those events included: The Harlem Renaissance Experience at Gallery Hop, the Everyday People Block Party, the MLK Library Children’s Mural event, the My Great Day in Harlem documentary premiere, and more. The goal of these events was three-fold: to educate the community about the history of the Harlem Renaissance in Columbus, to expose this city to our wealth of Columbus-based, black artists, and to create platforms of expression for African American artists.

“We are so proud of every experience and piece of creative we created to celebrate the anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance in the city we call home. The most exciting part about this campaign is that it will never truly end,” says Yohannan Terrell, CEO of Warhol & WALL ST. “The new murals, friendships, and forms of inspiration that were forged in this celebration will continue to shape Columbus for the better.”
