TAH Benefits CEO to Join the Small Business Council of the Columbus Chamber

Westerville, Ohio – (Jan. 21, 2019) – The Small Business Council of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce has invited Medical insurance provider TAH Benefits to join 23 other small and mid-sized businesses to help guide policies and procedures.

TAH Benefits CEO Jay Hazelbaker will begin a three-year term on the council beginning in February and ending in February 2022. He has nearly 25 years of experience working in the insurance industry. Previously, Hazelbaker served as a board member and legislative chair of the Columbus Association of Health Underwriters and is currently a member of the Columbus, Ohio, and National Association of Health Underwriters.

“After seeing the Columbus small business community grow and change for decades, I’m excited about the chance to share my perspective and help other business owners succeed,” Hazelbaker said.

Don DePerro, president and CEO of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, wrote Hazelbaker an invitation explaining that the business owner’s perspective will allow the chamber to better serve small businesses and improve the overall business environment.

As a new council member, Hazelbaker will interact with other business leaders and direct the chamber’s 2019 goals.
