Columbus has several Fortune 500 companies that provide a strong economic foundation. Its manufacturing, shipping, retail, and culinary industries make it an exciting and vibrant area. What pieces of advice have you found to be the most helpful since starting your career?
Early on in our business venture, I was given advice about the importance of product differentiation from our competitors in the security industry. How do you achieve a work/life balance?
As a father and husband who’s worked in public safety for the past 27 years, I understand the need to strike a balance between work/life. While we all strive for perfection, even in our careers, its ok to ask for help. Delegation at work is important. Without it, we can’t be at our best with the ones at home who mean the most.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside the office?
My favorite place to have a meeting outside the office is at a quiet local coffee shop or café. A relaxing atmosphere and a hot cup of java makes for the perfect place to meet a new client. It gives off a friendly vibe, it’s not too loud, which makes a great place to learn more about what safety concerns that keep our perspective client up at night.
