Established in 1882, Quandel Construction Group, Inc. is a 4th generation, family-owned, commercial construction company, which has been providing construction, construction management, design-build and owner’s representative services for the past 135 years. Ranking nationally on the Top 400 Contractors list by Engineering News Record, its experience spans across five offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, including its local Ohio office located at 774 Park Meadow Road in Westerville.

Quandel Construction’s diverse portfolio of experience and services include the following markets: commercial corporate, higher education, civic/government, healthcare, environmental, senior living, cultural, industrial/manufacturing and retail/mixed use.

Quandel Construction is proud to collaborate with local leaders on several initiatives including the multi-million dollar development of the Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital, the F9 Dublin Data Center, several projects at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Motorists Insurance Group Topiary Park residential project in the Discovery District.

However, Quandel Construction is more than just a contractor. The company is a “builder of relationships.” And because of that, it’s proud to be a part of the Central Ohio community, partnering with numerous local non-profit organizations including, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We are looking forward to exploring the resources the Columbus Chamber can provide in regard to industry reports and market analysis. In addition, we plan to continue our active membership with the Columbus Chamber through attendance at signature events and engagement in various networking and leadership opportunities.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry? 

By attending and presenting at industry conferences and seminars we are able to stay informed of cutting-edge technologies, modern safety initiatives and industry best practices. We subscribe to multiple publications across various markets and we encourage and reimburse employees for active participation in industry organizations. In addition, we host in-house training sessions across the entire company.

What is your company culture like? AND What does it take to be a successful employee at your company? 

Quandel Construction is a 4thgeneration family-owned company, and employees are part of that family and the legacy of its leadership. It is an appreciation of this past that informs and shapes the company’s path to the future.
