Columbus, OH, Dec. 14, 2017 — The Columbus Chamber of Commerce will honor finalists and the official recipient of the 2018 Small Business Leader Award at its Annual Meeting on Feb. 8 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center’s Battelle Grand Ballroom.
The Award recognizes a diverse range of qualities such as leadership, business excellence and contributions to the community in addition to factors like business size. All finalists have undergone an extensive vetting process by a committee of judges who considered nominations submitted in fall of 2017.
The 2018 finalists include:
Jeff Burt, EclipseCorp
Charles R. Morrison III, MCR Medical Supply
Cheryl Stauffer, Crimson Design Group
Greg Ubert, Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea
“The majority of Columbus Chamber members are small businesses, and they truly help define who we are as an organization,” said Columbus Chamber President and CEO Don DePerro.
“Jeff, Charles, Cheryl and Greg have shown the passion, intuition and tenacity it takes for a small business to succeed, and we’re proud to recognize them as finalists for this award.”
The Columbus Chamber has honored small business leaders in the region’s community for more than thirty years. Past recipients can be viewed in the Small Business Leader Award Hall of Fame.
