What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
We at Digital Buckeye realize that our field changes daily. The Columbus Dispatch and Columbus Business First provide us with a wealth of information on business trends. Being members of the local Chamber of Commerce and the Marion Chamber gives us networking opportunities to be successful in today’s market. The chambers also exposes us to educational workshops and conventions. With the escalation of Virtual Reality and associated technology, we scour the internet to stay informed. Being champions of safety, the OSHA website helps us understand the challenges of our clients. Following technology pioneers on social media gives insight into what is happening next.
What is your company culture like?
Communication is the key and we encourage direct communication. Daily stand ups keep each other abreast with what is happening. Our office walls are painted with a whiteboard paint so all partners see our company goals, clients, and future projects/projections. We engage in team building projects both in and out of the office. We hold each other accountable not only on our company goals, but our personal goals too.
What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
A successful employee would be motivated, determined, and passionate about our business. They would understand the value in researching our clients so we can take a proactive approach in meeting their needs. They must possess an open mind on others ideas and have a strategic mindset on future goals.
