Central Ohio labor force grows in February as more find jobs

Adjusting Ohio’s local jobless numbers for seasonal factors shows an uptick in Central Ohio’s unemployment rate, but it’s for “all the right reasons,” according to one local economic guru.
More people are coming back into the labor force — the number of people who are either working or looking for work — and that’s driving the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate up, said Bill LaFayette, owner of the Columbus economic analysis firm Regionomics LLC. Read more.
