Your business is our business. At the Columbus Chamber, we drive initiatives that fuel the growth of businesses in the Columbus Region. We are your business coach, advocate, and voice among elected officials. Our special initiatives were developed to support your business and strengthen our region as a whole.

Simply put, we’re here to help businesses thrive, which in turn strengthens the Columbus Region. The Chamber works closely with Columbus2020, the region’s economic development strategy.

  • What Makes Columbus Cool for the Young and Talented

    The young and talented choose to make the Columbus Region home because of its amenities, vitality and social engagement, according to results of the Columbus Chamber’s 2011 survey: “What Makes Columbus ‘Cool’ for the Young and Talented.” Feedback from the more than 1,100 respondents, which showed definite perception shifts from a previous survey, was unveiled at the Columbus Chamber’s State of the Young Professional (YP) event in October.

  • Two Columbus suburbs among Midwest's best quality of life areas

    Chicago is not only the economic hub of the Midwest, but it also sets the regional standard for quality of life. Two Columbus suburbs – No. 5 Powell and No. 9 Dublin – also made the top 10 list. Powell\'s median household income of $126,510 and $331,900 median house value helped it to its high ranking. In Dublin, the median household income is $114,560, and its median house value is $327,200. Read Article.
