As senior vice president of business development services, Michael Gordon leads
the Columbus Chamber’s efforts facilitating the creation and nurturing of
emerging growth enterprises. Gordon provides leadership and supervision for
managers and staff of the Chamber’s small business programs.
Gordon has more than 23 years of experience developing and implementing
programs for small and emerging businesses. Previously, he served as Executive
Director of the Columbus Regional Minority Supplier Development Council, an
affiliate of the Columbus Chamber, and as director of minority business
programming for the City of Columbus and the Ohio Department of Education.
Gordon’s educational background includes a M. Ed., from Xavier University,
Cincinnati, Ohio and a B.A., from The College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio.
